Chiropractor Adam Hawkins D.C.

Chiropractor Kenai AK Adam HawkinsDr. Hawkins was born and raised in Ogden, UT where he enjoyed the outdoor life. He frequently involved himself with skiing, camping, fishing, and a multitude of other outdoor activities; which is the attraction to living in a diverse land as Alaska. He chose to relocate to Texas, where he finished two years of undergraduate work in only one year and then attended chiropractic college. He obtained a B.S. Human Biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College.

During his internship, he practiced as clinician for the Rice University Sports, the University of Houston at Clear Lake, El Centro Medical Center and the Bridge Over Troubled Waters rotation programs. With these rotations he received experience treating collegiate athletes, individuals ranging in ages 18-80, low-income community and victims with a history of abuse or battery; in effort to keep all patients mobile and healthy.

Bragging rights: Dr. Hawkins is confident in his adjusting skills, his ability to diagnose and treat patients and is always looking to educate the patient to improved health.


Chiropractor Jennifer Reed D.C.

Chiropractor Kenai AK Jennifer ReedDr. Reed was born and raised in Houston, TX who obtained a B.S. Biomedical Sciences from Sam Houston State University, a B.S. Human Biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College.

During her internship, she practiced as clinician for the Rice University Sports, the Cenikor Foundation, and the Bridge Over Troubled Waters rotation programs. With these rotations she received experience treating collegiate athletes, individuals with a history of substance abuse, and victims with a history of abuse or battery; in effort to keep all patients mobile and healthy.

Dr. Reed is certified in the Graston soft tissue technique and Kinesio
Taping technique. She is a through-the-knee amputee (May 2014) as result of trauma from a motorcycle accident in summer 2009.

*Bragging rights:* Dr. Reed was driving that motorcycle (mentioned above), she has survived over 50 reconstructive surgeries, and she became a doctor before 26 years of age. Dr. Reed practices to regain total body function, with an emphasis on activities of daily living; her primary goal is to keep every patient living an active, quality life.

Dr. Reed and Dr. Hawkins have been married since 2012; they met their first year at Texas Chiropractic College where they quickly developed a working relationship that grew into a personal relationship. They literally spent 24 hours a day, 7 days a week working together in harmony for three and a half years, successfully. Where they began their joint passion of Faith, Family and Wellness.


SERVICE ANIMAL IN TRAINING TANK

Tank will begin working in the winter of 2018 as Dr. Reeds functional service animal. His primary purpose, among other tasks will be bracing and support effectively replacing her cane. Tank’s most notable accomplishment during the training process includes the Good Canine Citizen. This helps to establish that he will remain very well behaved in public places. He is friendly and may give lots of kisses to those who “ask” to pet him. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to ask as we will do our best to set your mind at ease.
